I started this blog at the suggestion of a friend. While my writing is normally horror fiction, I decided to take a stab at it. Chances are that if you found this blog, you already follow me on Instagram or Facebook. If not, welcome!
I'll start with a bit out me. I'm a witch, a wife, a friend, a daughter, a sister, a reader, a nerd, and a general weirdo. My pronouns are she and her. I'm an Empathic Medium. Yep, I see dead people. I also hear them, speak with them, feel their energy. My intuition is STRONG. I can feel the vibes of places and people. That being said, I believe in the paranormal, but I could also be called a skeptic. Because of the things I have seen, it takes a little more to convince me that the weird sound your cousin's friend caught on his cell phone is a disembodied voice. Sorry, Brad.
I find the death industry beautiful, and the people who work within it (pathologists, morticians, etc) are truly special. I did my undergraduate program in Forensics. I excelled at Bloodstain Pattern Analysis, Profiling, Pathology, and Crime Scene Reconstruction. My graduate program, which I am in my second semester of, is in Creative Writing. For the people who know me, this was a natural progression. I have a disturbing knowledge of serial killers and cult leaders, and it bothers a lot of people. I collect quotes, tattoos, books, lost things, and lost people.
I hate hearing how magic tricks work.
I am also a tarot reader. I love reading for others, connecting to their energy, and helping them on their path. I actually had three cards jump from the deck while I was shuffling before writing this entry. The Two of Cups, the Ace of Cups, and the Three of Swords. New partnerships, possibility, the potential for human connection. Grief, loss, working through my pain in order to produce something great.
It was this last card that hit home for me. Between January 12 and February 16, our family lost two of our oldest cats and I lost my father. That's certainly a lot of grief. Maybe this is part of how I heal.
So that's a bit about me. As for the blog, you can expect tarot information, behind-the-scenes stuff, setting intentions, and anything you want to know about. Please, don't hesitate to ask. You can reach me here or at email@example.com
